About

I’m Sejal, a data scientist based in NYC. I specialize in modeling work at the intersection of sports and tech. Currently, I am working on scheduling optimization at the NBA League Office. Before this, I was at Nike figuring out where to open new stores and which stores should carry what.

In my free time, you can find me exploring New York one long run at a time, perfecting my guacamole recipe, playing rec softball, or enjoying a good Sumo orange.

Currently

Data Scientist, NBA League Office. Working on scheduling optimization, running simulations, and things I can’t talk about yet.

Previously

Nike, IBM, Georgia Tech (MS Analytics), Tufts (BS Data Science + Biomedical Engineering).

Outside Work

Logging my miles on Strava, searching for the best yellowtail scallion roll, and beep-booping random side projects.
